Phillip P. “Cho” Gill, 83, of Brownsville, died Friday, July 10, 2026, in the ER of Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital.

He was born September 14, 1942 in Brownsville, the son of William Gill and Margaret Federer Gill.

He was a member of Denbeau Heights Christian Church and was retired from the maintenance department of California University of Pennsylvania.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the West Brownsville American Legion.

He is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Gill, at home, and Paula M. Workman of Uniontown; grandson, Richard Harris; granddaughter, Shon Gill; and grandson, William “Wil” Gill; great- granddaughter, Jaylnn Harris; great-grandson, Owen Harris.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, William, Kenneth and Ronald; and two sisters, Martha and Elnora.

Friends will be received Wednesday, July 15, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the ELEY- MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME, Fayette City.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 16, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, with Pastor Jack Washabaugh officiating.

Entombment will follow in the LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA 15415.
