Inseparable in life and united in eternity, Adrianne Wilson and Richard “Bob” Wilson of McClellandtown, passed away one day apart on Thursday and Friday, May 7, and May 8, 2026.
Adrianne, 78, passed away at the Uniontown Hospital on Thursday, May 7. Her husband, Bob, 80, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 8. Both were surrounded by their loving family.
Adrianne was born January 8, 1948, and Bob was born October 8, 1945, both in New York City. Their love story began at 212 St. Nicholas Avenue in New York City. Soon after meeting, Bob enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1966. They were married in 1967 and built a life rooted in love, service and devotion to family and faith.
After raising their family in Queens, N.Y., they later settled in McClellandtown, where both dedicated their lives to ministry, education and community service through St. Paul’s AME Church in Uniontown and numerous local organizations. Together, they touched countless lives through their kindness, leadership, and unwavering faith.
They are lovingly remembered by three generations of family, including: their four children: Kimberly Wilson-Rose, Semori Wilson, Torrie Wilson and Robert Wilson; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; as well as an extended family, their church family, and dear friends.
Their legacy of love, service and faith will continue to live on in all who knew them.
Friends are invited to celebrate their lives at Faith Assembly, 700 W. Main Street, Uniontown, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 6. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Alfred Thompson, Jr. officiating.
