Charles Kenneth Teagarden, Jr., 69, of Ellsworth, passed away Saturday morning, June 20, 2026, in his home.
He was born August 7, 1956, a son of Charles Kenneth Teagarden, Sr. and Polly Ann Phillips Teagarden.
He was a 1975 graduate of California High School.
A coal miner most of his working career, Charles worked for Vesta 4 and Maple Creek mines, and also Davey Tree Service and Asplundh Tree Service.
A handyman, he enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing and gardening.
Surviving are his wife, Diane Kerns Teagarden; daughter, Amanda Rossi of California and her children, Aubrey and Luca Rossi, who Charles loved spending time with; siblings, Bonnie Parkinson (Bill) of Louisiana, Kathy Shutsy (Jerry) of Latrobe, and Randy Teagarden of St. Augustine, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a son, Brandon Teagarden.
Friends are welcome from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday, June 22, in the THOMPSON-MARODI FUNERAL HOME, INC., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 23.
Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
