Robert Anthony Guerriere, 76, of Chalk Hill, passed away peacefully in his home, in the loving arms of his family Friday, March 6, 2026.

Rob was born September 21, 1949, in Uniontown to the late Anthony Eugune Guerriere and Dorthy Vivian Weppner Guerriere. He was known for his strong work ethic, kindness, sense of humor, and his intense love for his family.

Rob established his highly reputable construction company, Century Construction and Development Corp. in 1974. It was through this passion that he was highly respected throughout the community. He served as officer of the Uniontown Exchange Club; Wharton Township Planning and Zoning Commission; president of the Fayette County Planning Commission; president of The Home Builders Association of Fayette County, and numerous other associations.

Rob and his loving wife, Patty transformed his childhood home into the historic Christmas Shop and Downer House Antiques. The Downer House was given the honor of becoming a National Historical Landmark and has been a staple of warmth and tradition to all who have passed through to be able to share his love and passion of Christmas.

He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing at his family cabin, where he spent countless weekends teaching his children and grandchildren the beauty of nature and what God has given us. He enjoyed bargain hunting at flea markets, antique stores and estate sales.

Rob’s true journey in life began when he met the love of his life, his wife of 44 years, Patricia, followed by his five loving daughters. He cherished every second he spent with his family, instilling deeply rooted traditions, which they will carry on with their own children, (his grandchildren), and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Patricia Guerriere; his children, Robin Amend (William), Ashley Shrum (Colby), Megan Guerriere (Zachary), Shane King, Stephanie Newland (Noah); his 15 grandchildren: Nate (Tia), Grace, Sofia; Ireland (Colin), Ian, Michael, Henry; Jaden, Jude; Eli, Alivia, Addison, Lincoln; Gio, Nikko; and two great- grandchildren, Santino and Sloane, who were the light of his life.

He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony and mother, Vivian; brother, Peter; and sister, Gail.

Rob’s legacy of love and dedication to his family will live on eternally, through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In the words of our cherished and loving Father, Husband and Poppo: “Family is everything.”

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Farmington, 4222 National Pike, Farmington, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 9.
