Raymond Elton Hice, 75, of Republic, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 14, 2026, in WVU Uniontown Hospital. He was born August 8, 1950, a son of the late Raymond E. and Mary Dacko Hice.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Louis Sr. and Kathleen Schubert; brother-in-law, Louis Schubert, Jr., all of Republic; daughter-in- law, Rhonda Hice of Mill Run; and granddaughter, Mary Sue Hice of Dunbar.
He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Susan Schubert of Republic; ex-wife, Susan Swink of Dawson; son, Jeffrey Hice (Leta) of Phoenix, Ariz.; son, Todd Hice (fiancee Sue) of Berlin, N.J.; daughter, Stephanie Casterline (John) of Wickhaven; grandchildren, Todd Hice, Jr. of Carmichaels, Haley Merglowski (Andrew) of Rices Landing, Madison Hice and Morgan Hice of Mill Run, Alexander and Ava Hice of Phoenix, Mercedes Timms of Erie; his great- grandchildren, Alara and Alayna Merglowski of Rices Landing; several nieces and nephews.
Raymond’s family will receive friends for a memorial service from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 19, in the KISH-FABRY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 19 Legion Street, Republic, PA 15475. A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m.
