Barbara Jean Gansor, 79, of Bobtown, died Saturday, March 21, 2026, in the MonHealth Medical Center in Morgantown. Born in Waynesburg September 23, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Max and Jeannette Thorn Brozik.
She was a 1964 graduate of Mapletown High School. Barbara was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed looking after the needs of her family for as long as she was able.
Surviving are her three sons, Francis Gansor, Jr. of Mt. Airy, Md., Brian Gansor (Bonnie) of Bobtown, and Barry Gansor (Amanda) of Waynesburg; five grandchildren, Garret, Brooke, Blair, Faith and Anna Gansor; one great- granddaughter, Alivia Jean Cox; a sister, Nina Kocerka (Ed) of Greensboro; a brother, Max Brozik of Carmichaels, and their families.
Her beloved husband of 59 years, Francis Gansor, passed away August 25, 2025.
A private blessing service for her family will be held in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, with the Rev. Fr. Francis Fraser officiating. Interment follows in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion.
