Carl Wayne Lewis, Sr., 86, of Masontown, passed away in Laurel Ridge Center, Uniontown, Sunday, March 19, 2026.
He was born in Mt. Sterling January 10, 1940, the son of the late Earl W. and Ethel Marie Cumberland Lewis.
In addition to his parents, Carl was predeceased by his first wife, Stephanie Mordesovich Lewis; and siblings, LLoyd, William, Evelyn, Betty, Doris Faye, and Priscilla “Tillie”.
Carl was a graduate of Jefferson Morgan High School Class of 1959 and was employed at TWA Airlines.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Jane Lewis; his son, Carl Wayne Jr.; and daughter, Michele Lewis-Wood; sister, Trudy Cirota; stepsons, Robert Plaski, Jr., Dale Plaski, Bruce Plaski; stepdaughter, Debbie Plaski-Mikolajczyk; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
At Carl Wayne’s request, there will be no funeral services.
Arrangements are entrusted to JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, 7 River Avenue, Masontown.
