Joyce Joann Hunyday Smitley, 76, of Oliphant, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 23, 2026, in WVU Uniontown Hospital. She was born November 28, 1949, a daughter of John and Mary Lou Glover Hunyday.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Christopher Smitley.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Robert Buell Smitley.

Joyce’s professional funeral arrangements are private and have been entrusted to the GOLDSBORO-FABRY FUNERAL HOME, INC., Fairchance.
