Sally Rae Wilson Fosbrink, 77, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully Friday, March 27, 2026 in the WVU Medicine J.W. Ruby Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. She was born November 29, 1948 in Uniontown a daughter of the late Ewing Wade and Ruth Pauline Fogle Wilson.
Sally was a graduate of the Uniontown High School Class of 1966.
She retired after 36 years as a technician for Allegheny Power and then went to work for the Herald Standard Newspaper in Uniontown for several years. She also worked for the FACT Bus in Fayette County as a scheduler.
She was a member of the Albright United Methodist Church in South Connellsville, the Order of the Eastern Star #263 Uniontown, and the White Shrine of Jerusalem.
Sally and her husband, Larry loved to square dance. They would travel all over the United States and Larry would call the square dances. They met many wonderful people during all of their travels.
Sally was a cat lover and raised many cats during her lifetime; they gave her much joy and happiness.
Sally will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by her loving family: her niece, Donna Jean Fosbrink of South Connellsville and her partner, Dennis; her nephew, Richard Lee Fosbrink and husband Zachery Garman of Forest Hills; brother-in- law, Bruce Fosbrink of Connellsville; and her good friends, Carol and Lou Tom of Lemont Furnace.
In addition to her parents, Sally was predeceased by her husband, Larry Lee Fosbrink February 10, 2019; and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard A, and Elaine Fosbrink.
Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 12 noon Thursday, April 2, with Pastor Steven Lamb officiating, in the Chapel of Green Ridge Memorial Park, 2901 Memorial Boulevard, Connellsville, PA 15425, where interment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Albright U.M. Church, 1626 S. Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, PA 15425, in memory of Sally Rae Fosbrink.
