June Arlene Patterson Chapley, 91, of McClellandtown, went to be with her Lord Monday, May 18, 2026.
She was born March 5, 1935 in Oliver, to the late Evelyn and Henry Patterson.
She graduated from North Union High School, Class of 1953.
June worked at Masontown Elementary School in the cafeteria. She enjoyed spending time in her pool, scrapbooking, baking Christmas cookies with her grandchildren, making her famous vegetable soup; and she was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
June is survived by her children, Deborah, Edward Jr. “Ben”, Keith Sr. (Rebecca), Stephen (Heather); her seven grandchildren, Shawna (Fred), Douglas (Miranda), Keith Jr. (Bree), Adam (Heather), Casey, Kiley, and Stephen; four great-grandchildren, Jillian, Tristen, Hannah, and Ava.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Edward L. Chapley, Sr.; and a son- in-law, Louis DeFrank, Jr.
Visitation for June will be held in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, 603 N. Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, PA 15401, Tuesday, May 26, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Wednesday, May 27, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 28.
Interment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
