Kevin Dean Rayoni, 56, of Baton Rouge, La., formerly of Uniontown, passed away suddenly Saturday, October 3, 2026.
Kevin was a 1988 graduate of Connellsville Area School District. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1991, proudly dedicating four years of his life to serving his country.
After his military service, Kevin pursued his love of cooking, becoming a chef and owning a bistro in New York City.
Kevin will be remembered for his sweet demeanor and the kindness he showed everyone he met. His caring nature extended to both animals and children. Although he had no children of his own, he cherished spending time with his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Thelma Heaton Rayoni.
Kevin leaves behind his loving siblings: Regina Asbury and husband Terry of Uniontown; Tina McLee of Uniontown; Ben Rayoni of Grays Landing; and Michelle Jordan and husband Albert of Fairchance. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Amber, Kinesha, Leah, Madeline, Marcus, and Dalton; along with nine great- nephews.
Kevin’s kindness and the memories he shared with his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
