David W. Garlick, 80, of South Connellsville, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2026, in his home. He was born March 14, 1946 in South Connellsville, a son of the late Pearl Garlick Honse.
David was a graduate of the former South Union High School. He was employed as an operating engineer for 30 years and was a member of Operating Engineers Local # 66.
He loved model railroading and was a member of Albright United Methodist Church.
David is survived by his children, Tambra Garlick-Driscoll and husband DeWitt of South Connellsville, and David Woods Garlick, Jr. of South Connellsville; grandchildren, Jonathan David Smart and fiancee Bridgett, Tyler Raymond Garlick and fiancee Shayla, and Jesse Woods Driscoll and fiancee Kenna, who was also one of his caregivers; and his beloved brother, Charles W. Honse, Jr. of Pittsburgh.
In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by a son, Raymond William Garlick; and his grandparents who raised him, Raymond William Garlick and Bertha Ritenour Garlick.
There will be no public viewing or services. All arrangements are under the direction of the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 111 E. Green Street, Connellsville.
