Geraldine “Deanie” “Gerri” Davis Jackson, 94, got her wings Tuesday, October 6, 2026, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lemont Furnace October 5, 1932.
She was preceded in death her mother, Mabel Price Davis Vassar; and father, James Davis; and her husband, Phillip Jackson.
Surviving are her children, Toni and Todd Jackson, Trina and James Pryor, Troy Jackson, Terence and Mai Jackson.
Geraldine retired in 2010 from Fayette County Courthouse, where she worked in the Recorder Deeds Office for over 21 years.
Viewing will be held in LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 East Main Street, Friday, October 16, from 4 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, October 17, from 11 a.m. until the time of a service at 12 noon. Interment will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Geraldine Jackson Scholarship Fund.
