Lee Etta Mansberry, 85, of Brownfield, passed away peacefully, in her home, Wednesday, October 21, 2026. She was born January 22, 1941, in Elliottsville, to the late Leo Sharp and Dora Joseph Sharp.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by six siblings, Robert, Harry, Doris, Irene, Druscilla, and Daniel.

Lee is leaving behind a home that was never empty, and a table where there was always an extra plate. While Lee fiercely loved her own family, her maternal heart extended far beyond traditional boundaries. She was the steady anchor for her entire extended family, often opening her doors and taking in loved ones whenever they needed a safe place to land, or a home filled with unconditional love.

Lee Etta was a talented cosmetologist and brought that same care and dedication to her community as a proud member of the Gladys Rebekah Lodge for over 57 years. Lee Etta leaves behind a legacy of generosity that transformed the lives of generations.

For nearly 67 years she walked hand in hand with her beloved husband, Dave, building a life centered around her family and those she cared for. Her family takes great comfort in knowing that in her final days that profound care was returned to her by her husband, her children, and her very special grandson, Brandon.

The family extends a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice for the compassionate care and support they provided during her final journey.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, David L. Mansberry; four children, Leland Mansberry (Lauren) of Smithfield, David L. Mansberry, Jr. (Leigh) of Uniontown, Kevin W. Mansberry (Kathleen) of Brownfield, Rebekah Cristini (Steven), also of Brownfield; nine grandchildren, Lindsay, Samantha, Joshua, Jacob, Zachary, Matthew, Ryan, Brandon, and Nathan; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the SHELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Sunday, October 25, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and Monday, October 26, from 10 to 11 a.m., when services will begin with the Rev. Jeri Penrod officiating.
