Douglas S. Janosik, 46, of Smithfield, passed Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Laurel Ridge Nursing Home, Uniontown.
He was born in Pittsburgh, June 9, 1980, the son of Ronald Steven and Barbara Ann Gasparatz Janosik.
Douglas was preceded in death by his grandparents: Anna Marie and Joseph Janosik and Martin Gasparatz.
Douglas was disabled and a graduate of Albert Gallatin High School. He loved watching the Weather Channel, Wheel of Fortune and playing video games. His favorite character was Spider Man.
He was a member of Jacob’s Lutheran Church in Masontown.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Beth Anne Marie Janosik and fiance, Kirk Faris; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and his special caretaker, Sherry Hoone and the employees at Laurel Ridge Nursing Home.
No viewing, private interment. Arrangements have been entrusted to John S. Maykuth, Jr. Funeral Home.
