Marilyn C. Palandro Smith

Marilyn C. Palandro Smith, 85, of Uniontown, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026 in Uniontown Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 14, 1941 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Rocco Palandro and Carmella Cerra Palandro.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria Romano.
Marilyn was a 1959 graduate of Seneca Valley High School. She was a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church. Marilyn worked as a clerical secretary for Davis & Davis for 35 years and enjoyed her time working there. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading and ceramics.
Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family and friends.
Left to cherish Marilyn’s memory are her sons, Edward (Carey) Smith of Uniontown, Michael Smith of Uniontown; daughter, Michelle Smith of Uniontown; brother, Patrick Palandro (Adrian) of Monroeville; grandchildren, Carson Smith and Morgan Burney; great- grandchild, Sutton Burney and companion Erik Kost of Uniontown.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 8, at 1:30 p.m. at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Verona.
