Linda Marie Rudavsky Lucy, 74, of Ohiopyle, Pa., passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026 with her family by her side after a hard battle against cancer.

Linda was born at Charleroi Hospital on November 4, 1951, to the late John and Matilda (Kucmeroski) Rudavsky.

She graduated from Monessen High School in 1969 and went on to attend the University of Pittsburgh, earning a bachelor degree in Secondary English Education.

In 1973, Linda met Bill Lucy. They married on June 26, 1976 and began their life together.

Linda worked as a substitute teacher but never sought full-time employment away from home. She was devoted to her home and family which was the center of her life. She nurtured and cared for her family as much as she tended her flower beds and vegetable garden, with love, patience, care, and responsibility.

Linda was a longtime member of Meadow Run Community Church in Ohiopyle, where she attended for more than 50 years. She served as Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School Teacher, and on the Kitchen Committee.

Her love of flowers also led her to serve and later chair the Flower Department at the Fayette County Fair for over 35 years. Her passion and commitment kept her volunteering through 2025.

Linda loved traveling with Bill and her family. Camping throughout the United States, cruises, hiking the Grand Canyon, rafting rivers across the country and making their annual trip to Assateague Island gave her many adventures to look forward to with her children and grandchildren who referred to her as Baba.

Linda is survived by her husband of 50 years, William Lucy; daughters, April (Clinton) Ely and Amy (Joseph) Foster; sister, Dolores (Toby) Bastin; grandchildren, Logan Garner, Levi (Lillian) Garner, Lucas Garner, Hannah Foster, Patrick Foster, and Gracelyn Foster; and great-grandson, Tobiah Garner.

Viewing will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON on Wednesday September 9 from 3 to 8 p.m. Additional visitation will be held on Thursday September 10 from 11 until the hour of the funeral service at 12 p.m. with Pastor Mark Berkshire officiating. Interment to follow in Irwin Memorial Cemetery.
