Lois Daphene Richter Wingrove, 95 of Perryopolis, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, September 5th 2026 with family beside her in Belle Vernon, Pa.
Lois was born November 23, 1930 in Perryopolis to the late Lloyd and Elizabeth (Libby) Richter. She also had one sister whom she adored, the late Norma Richter Rigo of WV; late son-in-law, Jack S. Ehrhardt.
Lois was a member of the Perryopolis First Christian Church. She was also a loving wife, mother, grandmother and excellent homemaker which she enjoyed very much in addition to other activities such as cooking, baking, making homemade jellies, canning, shopping, dancing and spending time with friends and family. Lois was married to the late Ray Wingrove of Perryopolis until his passing on July 9th, 1995.
Lois is survived by her daughter, Susan Wingrove Ehrhardt; two grand-daughters: Michelle Ehrhardt Edwards and Rachel Ehrhardt Hulick; five great-grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.
Lois’ family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at the BLAIR LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa. where her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery, Perryopolis, Pa.
