Mark Anthony Sharpe, 73, of Washington, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 28, 2026, following a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.
He was the son of the late Louis Sharpe and Frances Sharpe.
Mark was a wonderful, intelligent, and kind man whose faith and family were at the center of his life. He loved God deeply and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be remembered for his kindness, his intelligence, and the love he had for those closest to him.
Mark is survived by his wife, Kathy Sharpe; his daughter, Elizabeth Sharpe, from his first marriage to Jan Sharpe; his stepson, Stephen Polansky, Kathy’s son; his son-in-law, Aaron Spraggs; and his beloved grandchildren, Frances and Julian. He is also survived by his siblings, Phil Sharpe, Greg Sharpe, Joanne Sharpe-Scandinaro, and Carolyn Neff. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charlie and Lou Sharpe.
Private Funeral Service were held for his immediate family. A private entombment was held at Forest Lawn Gardens in Canonsburg, PA. A Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, when family and friends can gather to honor Mark and celebrate a life filled with faith, kindness, and love.
