Dorothy P. Shirley Reagan Moravitz Bradich, 96, of Grindstone, passed into her heavenly home, while in her home Thursday, September 10, 2026, after suffering a stroke. Dorothy was born August 28, 1930, a daughter of Oca Shirley, Sr. and Minnie Peckman Shirley in Duquesne, where she was raised.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Geoge Bradich; her only sibling, her brother, Oca Shirley, Jr.; sister-in-law and best friend, Audrey Shirley; and stepdaughter, Jackie Oskin.
Dorothy relocated to Perryopolis and all through the ’60s was very involved with the Perryopolis United Methodist Church in various capacities. She was a den mother for the local Cub Scouts for numerous years. She started the Good News Club, where a lot of young kids would come to her house every Wednesday for food, refreshments, play games and discuss the day’s news events, she also organized outings for the group.
Then, after moving to Grindstone, she was the owner / operator of Bradich’s Christian Personal Care Home until her retirement.
Dorothy attended all four Steelers ’70s Super Bowl games with her husband, George Bradich, who was a long-time season ticket holder.
Dorothy was a member of the Eastern Star for many years, serving as Worthy Matron on three separate occasions. Dorothy continued to be a member of Fairview Methodist Church of Grindstone.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Thomas (Marge) Reagan of Perryopolis, Cheryl (Bob) Atkinson of Georgia, David (Bernadette) Reagan of Grindstone, Sonya (Kevin) McKnight of Newell, John (Kim) Moravitz of West Chester; stepdaughter, Judy (Ray) Small of Ithica, N.Y.; son-in-law, Ace Oskin of Jeanette; her grandchildren, Gerri Lee (John) Sauer, Nicole (Bryan) Eckert, Belinda (Omar) Cerda, Melissa (Matt) Christner, Daniel (Emily) McKnight, Allison Oskin, Eric (Lyndsey) Oskin, Brian (Shannon) Small; nine great- grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; best friend, Betty Milan; extended family and friends.
Dorothy’s family will receive friends Monday, September 14, from 2 to 8 p.m. in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis. Additional visitation will take place in the Fairview United Methodist Church, 621 Laureldale Road, Grindstone, Tuesday, September 15, from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon, the hour of her funeral service, with the Reverend Jim Myers officiating. Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
