Shirley L. Lynch, 92, of Perry Township / Belle Vernon, died Sunday, September 13, 2026. Born in Lowber March 18, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Arch and Fannie Cregut Rodebaugh.

Shirley worked in accounting for G. C. Murphy in McKeesport and also sold Tupperware for many years. A 1952 graduate of Sewickley High School, Shirley was a member of Harmony Presbyterian Church, where she served as Deacon and was active with the Ladies Aide. She was a member of the former Rostraver Grange No. 919.

She is survived by her son, Robert John (Lottie) Lynch of Belle Vernon; daughter, Beth Ann (Tom) Peterson; her grandchildren, Sarah Peterson, Nathan (Elizabeth) Lynch, Emily Lynch, Luke Lynch and Levi Lynch; along with great-granddaughter, Averie Jane Lynch; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, John C. “Jack” Lynch, whom she married September 15, 1962; brother, Robert Rodebaugh; sister, Joan; and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Robert and Eleanor Momeyer.

Friends will be received Thursday, September 17, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME, INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934), www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com Additional viewing will be held Friday, September 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., when a funeral service will be held with Scott Lynch officiating. Interment will follow in Rehoboth Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making memorial donations to a charity of one’s choice.
