Larry J. Blosser, Sr., 67, of Uniontown, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2026, with his loving family by his side.
He was born June 18, 1959 in Uniontown. Larry was a graduate of Fairchance-Georges High School Class of 1976.
He served in the U.S. Navy for four years on the USS Seattle.
After serving in the Navy, he was employed for Fayette County Courthouse for 40 years and the last office he held was the director of election, retiring in 2021.
He loved hunting and fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, Peyton “Peanut” and Mason “Bubs” and enjoyed teaching them about the outdoors.
Preceding him in death were his mother and father, Dorothy and David Blosser Sr.; his siblings, Ilene Blosser, Judy Baer, David Blosser, Jr., Susan Blosser, Pamela Saylor and Barry Blosser.
Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Barbara Bowers Blosser; his son, Larry J. Blosser Jr.; grandchildren, Peyton and Mason; his beloved dog, Bellzee; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
As per his wishes, no public services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, 103 Transit Drive, Uniontown, PA 15401.
