Ronald George Kollar, 74, of Uniontown, passed away Friday, September 18, 2026, in his home. He was born February 19, 1952 in Uniontown, the son of the late George and Ann Adamik Kollar.
He is survived by his sister, Christine Kollar of Uniontown.
An avid trap, skeet and pistol shooter, he was a member of the Connellsville Sportsman’s Association. He enjoyed going to local car shows and cruises with his Buick Grand National, which he restored to show quality.
Ron was recently employed with E. W. Bowman as the logistics manager before his retirement. Most of his career was in Information Technology and he worked at West Virginia University Hospitals, Fruehauf Trailer Corporation, and Malsbary Manufacturing.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, 603 N. Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 24. On Friday, September 25, Prayers of Transfer will be offered at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Therese de Lisieux Church, 61 Mill Street, Uniontown.
Interment will follow in St. Mary (Nativity) Cemetery, Uniontown.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, 1250 Fourth Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401; or the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231, in Ron’s memory.
