Nothing but lies
“I will bring prices down on day one!” “I will stop the war between Ukraine and Russia on day one!” “There will be no more forever wars in the Middle East when I am president!”
Every one of those statements were lies!
Since Donald Trump has taken office all we have seen are lies. Trump, his family and his cronies have grown richer, and the rest of the nation has become poorer.
Remember the “big, ugly bill”? That is the bill in which the Republicans took away healthcare from millions of people; the SNAP benefits program for the poor was gutted; no childcare, among other things. These are things they said they could not do but in that same bill the richest had their taxes cut. Since that bill was passed by the Republicans, your tax dollars have been used to help fund all of Trump’s whims: demolishing the East Wing of the White House to build a ballroom at taxpayer expense, building a helipad beside the White House with a special stone; wasting money on the Reflecting Pool.
Remember when Trump promised there would be no more forever wars in the Middle East? Well, there is a giant one that has been going on for the past six months that was started by Donald Trump. The Strait of Hormuz as open before he began to attack Iran. Other presidents were smart enough to know that if you attacked Iran, they would close the strait. Trump and his defense secretary were too dumb to know this. The result of this conflict: Iranians by the thousands are dead; we lost 18 American soldiers, and we are paying higher prices at the gas pump and in the grocery stores.
Trump is trying in every way he can to mess up the midterm election. The Constitution is clear in telling us that the states manage elections, not the executive branch. He knows that the Republicans are in danger of losing the House and the Senate. If that happens, he knows that his free ride is over, and the Democrats will not ignore his corruption as the Republicans did for two years.
