The Rev. and Mrs. William G. Silbert Jr. of 2 Cliffside Drive, Lincoln, R.I., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary recently. They were married on Oct. 10, 1942, in Philadelphia.

Rev. Silbert is a retired Presbyterian minister. He and his wife served Presbyterian churches in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island. He was the pastor of the Third Presbyterian Church in Uniontown from 1957 to 1968.

They are the parents of four children.

They also have six grandchildren.
