Campbells mark 50th anniversary
Harry Carl Sr. and Nancy Lee (Sis) Campbell of Fairchance celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 3. They were married Aug. 3, 1960, at the home of the Rev. Humbert in Fairchance.
Mrs. Campbell is the daughter of the late George Sr. and Florence (Dot) Tait. She was employed at Zorro’s Auto Accessories and is a homemaker.
Mr. Campbell was a meat cutter at Fairchance Shop and Save for many years. He retired from Helicon Cable.
They are the parents of eight children, Harry and his wife, Jacqueline, Kenneth and his wife, Petra, Christine and husband, Stanley Rerko, Lori and husband Thomas MacMillan, Tammi and husband Edmund Aretta, Donald and wife Brandy, Alan and wife Mary, and Angilee and husband Chad Victor.
They have 17 grandchildren, Geoffrey, Amilynn, Martin, Julia Campbell, Kathleen, Leann, Stephany Rerko, Joshua MacMillan, Jason Aretta, Amanda, Scott, Donald Jr., David Campbell, Stephanie, Alan Jr., Ryan Campbell and MacKenzie Victor.
They also have a great-grandchild, Madelynn Strosnider.
A celebration dinner is being held today for family and friends at the Diamond Ballroom in Hopwood.
