Schock-McCann
Christine Ann McCann and Michael James Schock were united in marriage July 30 at Whyel Chapel, Jumonville, with R. Clayton Van Verth, pastor, officiating.
Maid of honor was Kimberly McCann of Hilliard, Ohio, the bride’s sister.
Bridesmaids were Kristina McCann, niece of the bride, Hilliard, Ohio; Sherry Sturdevant, Andi Palmer, Gina La Rose, Virginia Dorogi and Susan Golden, all of Uniontown; and Debbie Koonse, Smithfield.
Flower girl was Jordyn Schock of Uniontown, daughter of the groom.
Best man was Michael Fields, Miami, Fla. Co-best man was Tony La Rose, Uniontown.
Groomsmen were Kurt Sturdevant and Jeremy Clark, Uniontown; Norm Mumford and Derek Spangler, Hilliard, Ohio; Cliff Kay and Gary Kay, Fairchance. Ushers were Carl Schock Jr. and Shawn Golden.
A reception was held at Christian Klay Winery, Chalk Hill, with music by Jeff Stasko.
Ring bearer was Bailey Schock, the groom’s son.
Music for the ceremony was by a violinist and cellist provided by Serenading Strings, Pittsburgh.
The bride is a 1989 graduate of Uniontown Area High School, and a 1990 graduate of West Virginia Career Institute. She is employed as office manager of Advance Chimney Sweeps Inc. and also as a Realtor and investment property manager.
The groom is a 1990 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and is founder and president of Advance Chimney Sweeps Inc. in Pennsylvania and West Virginia since 1996.
A wedding trip was made to Historic Two Meeting Street Inn, Charleston, S.C., and Marriott Resort, Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The newlyweds are residing in Uniontown.
