Expanding Access to Urgent Care in Greene County
WVU Medicine continues to invest in the health and well-being of the Greene County community with an upcoming expansion of its Urgent Care clinic at the Waynesburg Outpatient Center. Scheduled for completion in late September, the expanded space will enhance the patient experience and help meet the growing demand for convenient, high-quality care close to home.
Urgent Care at the Waynesburg Outpatient Center provides treatment for non-emergency illnesses and injuries when your primary care provider is unavailable, or you cannot wait for an appointment. From coughs, colds, flu, infections, and rashes to sprains, strains, and minor fractures, patients can count on expert care from the WVU Medicine team.
The expanded clinic will provide additional space to serve patients more efficiently while maintaining the compassionate, personalized care the community has come to expect. Patients also benefit from easy access to follow-up care and referrals within the WVU Medicine network when specialized treatment is needed.
Services include:
• Treatment for minor illnesses and injuries
• Lab and imaging services
• Vaccinations
• Sports physicals
Open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day), WVU Medicine Urgent Care offers walk-in convenience with no appointment necessary.
In addition to Urgent Care, the Waynesburg Outpatient Center provides primary care, OB-GYN, pediatric, and specialty services, making it a trusted destination for comprehensive healthcare in Greene County.
Days, evenings, weekends, and holidays-you never know when illness or injury may occur. With an expanded Urgent Care clinic on the way, WVU Medicine is strengthening its commitment to ensuring patients have convenient access to the care they need, when they need it.
