Hair earns two 1st-place finishes for Uniontown
In Week 2 of clay target shooting
Aidan Hair earned two first-place finishes and a second-place showing in Week 2 of competition for Uniontown in clay target shooting.
Hair won male skeet with an average of 22.75. He tied teammate Aden Brame in male trap with an average of 24.75. Hair was second in 5-stand shooting averaging 23.25.
Hair’s performance helped the Red Raiders to a two-week score of 7,732.50 in trap shooting, which has Uniontown in first place. The Red Raiders remain atop the leaderboard in 5-stand with 191.50 points. Uniontown is second in skeet with a two-week total of 264 points.
The Red Raiders’ Holly Piovarchy won female trap (average of 24) and 5-stand (19.25), and tied for third in skeet (19.75). Teammate Lillian Sadler was second in skeet (21.75) and 5-stand (17), and 14th in trap (20.25).
Uniontown’s Rocco Tom was third in trap with an average of 24.25.
The Red Raiders’ Ethan Nicholson was third in skeet (21.50) and 5-stand (21), and seventh in trap (23.50).
Laurel Voegel placed third in the 5-stand among females in 15.25. She tied for third in skeet (19.75), and was 14th in trap (20.25).
Bethany Wise tied Raelee Bruich for fourth in 5-stand with a score of 12.50. Wise was fifth in skeet (18.25) and trap (22). Bruich was sixth in skeet (16.50) and eighth in trap (21.75).
Aubrey Mrosko and Kenna Whitaker tied for 25th in female trap with an average of 16.50.
Brame tied Ryder Burnsworth for ninth place in 5-stand at 19.75. Burnsworth cracked the top 10 with a ninth-place showing in male trap (23.25). Teammate Braedon Smith was 19th in trap (22.75).
The Red Raiders’ Austin King was ninth in male skeet with an average of 20.25.
