Uniontown’s lead remains in trap, 5-stand
Uniontown’s clay shooting target team remains in first place in trap and 5-stand after Week 3 concluded.
The Red Raiders, who are coached by Terry Dawson, scored a personal best for a single week with 105.50 points in 5-stand shooting. Uniontown has a three-week total of 297.00.
The Red Raiders scored 3,439 points in Week 3 to increase their lead in trap to 11,171.50 with two weeks remaining.
Uniontown trails Latrobe by two points in skeet with a total of 413.50. The Red Raiders earned 149.50 points in Week 3, which improved their total by 40 points between Weeks 2 and 3.
Aidan Hair and Holly Piovarchy led their respective divisions with two first-place finishes and one third-place showing.
Hair won trap (average of 24.50) and skeet (23.33) in the male division. He was third in 5-stand (23.00).
Piovarchy won trap (24.00) and 5-stand (19.00), and was third in skeet (20.17).
Teammate Lillian Sadler was second in skeet (21.67) and 5-stand (18.33), and 15th in trap (20.17).
Aden Brame was second in male trap with an average of 24.33. He was ninth in 5-stand (19.83).
Uniontown’s Ethan Nicholson had three top-10 finishes with a third-place showing in skeet (22.17), fifth in trap (23.50) and sixth in 5-stand (21.17).
The Red Raiders’ Rocco Tom (13th in trap with an average of 23.00), Leland Peck (6th in skeet with an average of 21.00) and Ryder Burnsworth (10th in 5-stand with an average of 19.67) rounded out the scoring in the male division.
Uniontown’s Bethany Wise was fourth in 5-stand (14.67), and fifth in trap (22.17) and skeet (19.17).
The Lady Red Raiders’ Raelee Bruich was fifth in 5-stand (13.67), sixth in skeet (16.50) and eighth in trap (21.67). Teammate Laurel Vogel was third in 5-stand (15.00), fourth in skeet (19.83) and 17th in trap (20.00).
