Leasher and Washington had two assists apiece.

The Lady Falcons’ Sara Tinkey made four saves for the clean sheet.

MOUNT PLEASANT 2, SOUTH PARK 1 — Tyke Snyder scored twice in the Vikings’ non-section triumph over the Eagles at South Park.

Lukas Showman assisted on one of Snyder’s tallies.

Keeper Grayson Gardner stopped six of seven shots on target.

Mount Pleasant improved to 13-1-0 overall.

The WPIAL playoff-bound Vikings sit atop the table in Section 5-2A with a record of 9-1-0 and 27 points. Second-place Belle Vernon has 25 points at 8-1-1.

Mount Pleasant can clinch the section championship this evening with a win over third-place Yough (5-2-2, 7-4-2) and a Leopards loss at Southmoreland (5-3-1, 5-5-2). A draw and a Belle Vernon setback would clinch at least a share of the section crown with the Leopards.
