Several students received minor injuries after a Jefferson-Morgan School District bus was involved in a crash with a dump truck Wednesday morning. Six elementary school students and a bus driver were on the bus at the time of the crash, which happened about 8 a.m., Jefferson-Morgan Superintendent Dr. Brandon Robinson said Wednesday. The crash happened on Route 21 as the bus was turning onto Eaton Run Road, Robinson said. As the bus was turning, he said, it was rear-ended by a dump truck that unsuccessfully tried to stop, hitting the driver’s side as it swerved.
