A Fayette County man is accused of soliciting naked photos and videos from an underage girl and exchanging hundreds of explicit texts with her. The 13-year-old girl told police she had been communicating with Nicholas Bane, 19, of Merrittstown, on Snapchat for about two years. The conversations were found by the girl’s guardian in April as she was going through the girl’s phone, according to the criminal complaint. Edward Charles Reid Jr., 61, of Charleroi, faces felony charges of possession of child sexual abuse material, intercepting communications, disclosing intercepted communications and misdemeanors of harassment and unlawful dissemination of an intimate image.
