Westmoreland Co. man accused of sexting with West Beth pre-teen girl

A Westmoreland County man is accused by state police of sending sexually explicit photos to a pre-teen girl living in West Bethlehem Township earlier this year and having her send a nude photo of herself. Logan Garrett Rowles, 18, of Scottdale, was arrested Thursday on felony charges alleging that he communicated with the 12-year-old girl using a social media app on their electronic devices to send and receive the sexual images, according to court documents. The girl’s grandmother became suspicious of the situation and looked through her tablet, where she found numerous sexual photographs being sent and received, police said.
