Cabbage rolls

St. Katherine Drexel Parish will hold its Sunday Supper Cabbage Roll Dinner Oct. 4 at Drexel Hall, located at 208 Abromaitis Street, Bentleyville. The dinner features home-style cabbage rolls prepared fresh by church volunteers. Each $15 dinner includes two large cabbage rolls, mashed potatoes, corn, and a roll with butter. Dine-in service begins at 11 a.m., with meals available until sold out or 2 p.m. Take-out orders are also available, featuring curbside pick-up. Masontown meal

The Masontown community kitchen will be open on Tuesday, Oct. 6, between 4 and 5:30 p.m. The meal will be meatloaf, mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. The kitchen’s volunteers provide homemade desserts and Panera donates their breads. Located in First Presbyterian Church, 102 W. Church Ave., meals are provided without charge. Agency on Aging hearing

Southwestern Pennsylvania Area Agency on Aging Inc. will conduct a public hearing on the proposed FY 2026-2027 Area Plan for Fayette, Greene, and Washington counties on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 2 p.m. For more information, contact, Mary Harris, Executive Director, at 1-888-300-2704.

Farm tour

Beginning and diversifying farmers are invited to attend a Starting and Improving Farms Tour at Harmony Acres in Belle Vernon on Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. The tour will showcase how one family dairy farm has successfully diversified its operation to create multiple income streams and strengthen long-term farm viability. Participants will hear firsthand how Harmony Acres has expanded beyond traditional dairy production through innovative business strategies and community engagement.

Loads of Love

Pleasant View Presbyterian Church (533 Royal Road, Smock) is sponsoring “Loads of Love” at the Mod Laundromat (503 Union St., Brownsville, across from the DQ) on the last Sunday of the month from 1 to 4 p.m. Those who need help paying for laundry costs are invited to do their laundry at this time.

Arts program

Mon Valley Academy for the Arts (MVAA) invites teens to participate in its ongoing Crafty Conversations program, held on the second Wednesday of each month from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Peter J. Daley Cultural Center, 119 Brownsville Ave., Brownsville. The free sessions offer teens a chance to express themselves artistically. Radio club

The Uniontown Amateur Radio Club holds its meetings on the first and third Wednesdays of every month at 7 p.m. at the club building, 433 Old Pittsburgh Road, Uniontown. Women’s meeting

Malden Christian Fellowship, 343 Old National Pike, Brownsville is holding a weekly meeting for women and teenage girls to discuss issues like depression, grief and eating disorders. Meetings are on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Addiction recovery

On Tuesdays (note day change), from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., the addiction recovery ministry There is Hope will be held at Malden Christian Fellowship, 343 Old National Pike, Brownsville. Prayer group

Fort Burd United Presbyterian Church, 200 Thornton Road, Brownsville, is holding a weekly prayer group on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. The public is invited.

VFW Post 8543 Band

The VFW Post 8543 Band has begun rehearsals for its annual “A Christmas Holiday Concert XIV,” scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 29, at 3 p.m. at The State Theatre in Uniontown. The group is always looking for talented and dedicated musicians to join and perform with the organization.
