After six months of negotiations, the Charleroi Area School District and Charleroi Area Education Association have reached a labor agreement on a new contract for the district’s 116 teachers.

Laurel Highlands Class of 1969 held its 50th reunion at the Hilton Garden Inn in Uniontown. Brenda Pollak led singing of the alma mater.
