Fire damages vacant house in Brownsville

The state police fire marshal is investigating a blaze that heavily damaged this vacant house in Brownsville early Monday morning. Multiple fire departments from the Brownsville area were called to 45 Cemetery Road shortly before 5 a.m. for the fire, according to the Fayette County Department of Emergency Management. No one was injured and the cause of the fire is under investigation. [Mike Jones]
