Richeyville man accused of child porn possession

State police arrested a Richeyville man Wednesday on charges of possession of child sexual abuse material. Dustin Kenyan McMasters, 20, faces 20 felony charges of sexual abuse of children - possession of child sexual abuse material and disseminating photos/videos of child sex acts, and four additonal felonies of criminal use of a communication facility. According to the criminal complaint, in May 2025, messaging app Kik reported that an account belonging to McMasters had uploaded multiple files depicting the sexual abuse of children. South Union Township man charged in stolen sports cards scheme

State police arrested a Fayette County man accused of being at the center of a string of thefts involving sports trading cards. Ryan Michael Rates, 44, of South Union Township, faces felony charges of corrupt organizations, organized retail theft and receiving stolen property. According to the criminal complaint, at about noon Dec. 23, police were called to the Target at 120 Matthew Drive in South Union after more than $1,200 in trading cards were stolen.
