Father sentenced in connection with toddler's drowning in German Township

A Fayette County man whose 2-year-son drowned after climbing into an aboveground pool while unsupervised in July 2024 was sentenced to house arrest followed by probation. Donald Myers III, 31, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Fayette County Court of Common Pleas to endangering welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person in connection to the death of his son, Carson Myers. Fayette County residents charged in tire iron attack in Uniontown

Two Fayette County residents are in jail after allegedly assaulting a person in Uniontown Monday night. Ryan Miciotto, 34, of Uniontown and Angelina Lawver, 34, of Hopwood, are charged with aggravated assault and a related count of conspiracy, along with similar pairings for simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and disorderly conduct.
