Three Indianapolis men are accused of conspiring to steal money by breaking into cash machines 27 times across southwestern Pennsylvania over a three-month period. Charges were filed against the three men — Kavon Carter, 24; Demarkis Bartlett, 28; and Tony Edwards, 22 — in Fayette County Wednesday. Between December 2024 and February 2025, they allegedly committed 27 burglaries across Fayette, Greene, Washington, Allegheny, Erie, Butler and Venango counties. Police said the restitution needed to cover the thefts and damages would be more than $83,000, with the dollar amounts of multiple burglaries still to be determined, according to the complaint. An inmate formerly held at the state prison in Luzerne Township has been accused of raping another inmate. Court paperwork, filed Monday, alleged William Junior Savage, 49, of Somerset, assaulted the alleged victim in September 2025 at the State Correctional Institution at Fayette. State police said after the man was assaulted, he sought medical attention at the prison. When police spoke to him, the alleged victim told them he was nearing the time when he could be paroled and wanted to stay out of trouble, according to court documents. Ten teams participated in the round-robin event called “A Successful Celebration of Community and Kids’ Dreams.” The Ks foundation, which began in July 2025, covers registration for youth sports for families that earn $49,000 or less yearly.
