PRC to host household chemical collection

Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC) in partnership with Fayette County commissioners and Fayette County Conservation District will host a household chemical collection event in Uniontown to provide Pennsylvania residents with an opportunity to safely and cost effectively dispose of common chemicals such as cleaners, paints, batteries, e-cigarettes/vapes, motor oil and pesticides. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 13, at the Fayette County Recycling Convenience Center, Uniontown. Greene board OKs workforce study, incubator plan

The Greene County Board approved two plans Thursday that commissioners said would help guide future growth in the county. In 3-0 votes, commissioners approved a Barriers to Workforce Study and the Greene County Business Operations and Strategic Plan. The Cumberland Township Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 11, in the Nemacolin VFC social hall, 411 Roosevelt Ave. in Nemacolin.
