DCED grants support western Pa. projects

The latest round of Department of Community and Economic Development Main Street Matters grants will benefit four projects in Southwestern Pennsylvania with over $1 million in awarded capital allocated to improve arts, business and community assets. Missing Fayette man found after three days

A missing Ohiopyle man was found safe Friday, three days after he was reported missing from the campground where he worked. Jared Callahan, 43, was found in South Connellsville with no memory of how or why he disappeared, Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Kalee Barnhart said Friday. He was about 15 miles away from Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park campground, where he was reported missing Tuesday night after co-workers found his maintenance cart abandoned at the edge of the property. Callahan’s disappearance prompted an extensive search, drawing in bloodhounds, foot patrols, drones and helicopter.
