Three charged with prostitution in Fayette

A Fayette county couple and another woman face charges of prostitution. Harry Guthrie, 59, and Emmalie Guthrie, 53, of East Millsboro, were charged Friday along with Kimberly Hoar, 28, of Bentleyville. Hoar told state police from the Belle Vernon barracks she had been in an on-and-off relationship with Harry Guthrie, most recently from the spring of 2025 until the winter of 2026, according to court documents. Harry Guthrie acknowledged the relationship to police, but denied accusations of prostitution, saying the money was just to “help her out,” the complaints said. Fayette man charged with aggravated assault

A Fayette County man is accused of firing at a vehicle during an unauthorized traffic stop in Bullskin Township Thursday afternoon. Daniel Swope, 25, of Acme, is accused of firing three rounds at the back of a car after several people had blocked its path east on Kreinbrook Hill Road, the complaint said. Troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police Uniontown barracks responded around 3:46 p.m. Thursday. The driver, Corey Keslar, told police another man had also thrown rocks at the vehicle.
