ICE confirms operations in city of Washington

ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations in Philadelphia has confirmed it has conducted operations in the city of Washington. In an email, ICE said the agency “conducts daily enforcement actions across Pennsylvania, Delaware, and West Virginia. This includes the city of Washington, Pennsylvania.” Since Oct. 20, at least 23 immigrants have reportedly been detained in operations in the city and nearby communities.
