Hanover Township police charged a man this week for allegedly stabbing two people following a concert at The Pavilion at Star Lake. Frank Bonacci, 43, of White Oak, faces felony charges of aggravated assault, and misdemeanors of reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and tampering with evidence. According to the criminal complaint, the stabbing occurred at about 12:45 a.m. Aug. 3 in the Star Lake parking lot. Luke Bryan had performed for a sold out crowd that night. Charging documents state that Steven Palermo and Daniel Myers had offered to help Bonacci look for his girlfriend's lost cellphone, but that a fight broke out. A Monessen man was indicted by a federal grand jury Wednesday on drug and firearm charges. Anthony Crews, 52, faces three charges of possession with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime and possession of a firearm and ammunition after being convicted of prior felonies. According to the Department of Justice, on June 25 Crews was found to be in possession of crack cocaine and firearms. Crews faces 10 years to life in prison, and a fine of up to $5.5 million.
