A Greene County man was sentenced to 5 to 10 years in prison on child pornography charges Wednesday. Jacob Rex, 20, of Crucible, will serve consecutive sentences for possessing child sexual abuse material and distributing film of child sex acts. They are being served concurrently with a sentence on separate charges for distribution, corruption of a minor and criminal use of a telecommunications facility. Rex must also register as a Type II offender under Megan’s Law. The mother of a Greene County infant who was physically and sexually assaulted by the baby's father is going to trial on charges of child endangerment. Prosecutors said Kyliene Rhome, 25, of Washington Township, knew about the suspected abuse by the child’s father, Zachary Bryte, before she took her month-old son to the hospital in June 2025. After Judge Jeffrey Grimes declined a request for another continuance in the case Wednesday, Rhome opted to go to trial.
