The Everson Borough Council will vote Tuesday on emergency measures including assuming control of law enforcement records and revoking access after last week’s vote to formally suspend the borough’s police department. An Allenport man died Friday after he was hit by a train in the borough. Anthony Michael Chilzer, 43, was pronounced dead after he was struck by a Norfolk Southern train in Allenport about 5:10 p.m., according to Washington County Coroner Timothy Warco. According to the release from Warco's office, Chilzer was hit while attempting to cross the tracks near Bridge Street in Allenport on his motorized wheelchair. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
