Three Uniontown men charged with assault

Three Uniontown men are accused of a June assault against a couple outside their home in Uniontown. The men — Javon Brown, 33; Kevin Johnson, 35; and Jacob Stewart, 27 — are charged with aggravated assault, riot with intent to commit a felony, simple assault and harassment. On the night of June 21, the men are accused of severely beating Robert Engle outside his Pershing Court residence, causing an orbital fracture and three facial fractures, according to their criminal complaints.
